About Sleepy Dog Studio... Gracie is a 13 lb., 14 year old, shaggy, Jack Russell Terrier. What she lacks in size, she makes up for in personality and spirit. She’s my constant companion, my “pebble of Gibraltar,” and the inspiration for Sleepy Dog Studio. Gracie’s three “brothers,” Caesar and Titus, and Enzo were all adopted from the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA. Our SPCA is both an animal shelter and pound facility for our community. For the past five years (and counting) we have achieved our goal of being a no-kill community. I was so inspired by the work of the SPCA, I joined the Board in 2009 and am currently Board President. Dogs like my hound mixes would not have a chance at many shelters. But thanks to the support of our community, and the work of the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA, they are a part of my life and source of great joy to our family. To give others a chance to meet their best friends, I will donate 20% of my art profits to the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA.
